Every rating on this site comes from real people who actually visited the venue and drank the beer, wine, or spirit. No anonymous keyboard warriors. No fabricated reviews. No venue can buy a better score.
When you see a 4.8 on a brewery, that number is the honest average of every human who tapped a star on that listing. Nothing more.
What We Will Never Do
Accept payment to improve a venue's rating
Accept payment to move a venue higher in search results
Publish sponsored reviews or paid editorial
Sell advertising that appears inside the review feed
Let a venue suppress or remove honest negative reviews
These aren’t aspirational guidelines. They’re how the code is written. Any venue rating you see reflects real drinker scores, averaged, full stop.
How We Actually Make Money
We believe you deserve to know exactly how Swiggr pays its bills.
Venue Listings
Breweries and wineries can claim their listing on Swiggr. They can add photos, update their hours, and write their own description. We charge a small monthly fee for this. Their rating does not change. Their ranking does not change. The fee covers the listing service — nothing else.
Find It Near Me (Coming Soon)
When you love a beer, we'll show you where to buy it near you. Stockists are ranked by distance — nearest first, always. No retailer can pay to appear higher. We may earn a small affiliate fee when you click through to buy online. These links are labelled clearly.
Premium Membership (Coming Soon)
Power users who want unlimited lists, early access to new venues, and an ad-free experience will be able to subscribe. Free users always get the full rating experience.
Event Listings (Coming Soon)
Venues can pay to list their events — tap takeovers, release nights, live music. Events are shown chronologically. You cannot pay for prominence.
